KOREA : NAMI ISLAND

Train to Nami Island
To travel to Nami Island from Seoul, one alternative way that we took is to boarded the train from Yongsan station.

This is the way to get to Yongsan station is by riding the train to Sinyongsan station. Alight from that station and find the nearest exit. There are many construction buildings that time on the streets, so we are unable to locate Yongsan station. Luckily, we asked local people around. The photo above is showing Yongsan station from outside. And below, you can see what is inside Yongsan station.
You can buy ticket through automatic ticketing machine as seen below. Another way is to buy the tickets through the counter. This machine is equipped with English and Chinese language.

There are so many rail tracks, we have to see the sign above to make sure we are riding the correct train. So we heading to line 1. Our destinations is to Gapyeong, so we just need to stand by in front of this railway. The time of departure of the train also varies, and this train will depart on schedule. We have to arrive and wait for the train. Once the train comes, it will only wait for 5 mins and they will close train door. If we ride wrong train we could be arrive at another destinations. Below is a map displayed in front of the train

Arrived at Gapyeong station, we just need to exit from the train station and head to the information counter in front of the station. There is a bus stop nearby that counter. The bus that takes us to Nami Island will stop and board from here.

There was a mound of snow near the entrance. We try to climb this mound even though it is a bit slippery.

Not all of part in Nami's island has snow, just certain places. The snow did not go fall on that day either. But the air is very clean here and we were had fun.

Because Nami Island is so wide, we decided to ride a bike to go around in this Nami Island to take photos for 30 minutes. Michelle and papa Michelle wear electric bicycles, but Michelle's papa had to stand up to drive it. While Michelle sat behind. The course was a bit slow. Better to rent a regular bike. We also passed the Winter Sonata film set, the famous Korean drama. The place is still well preserved and the reason tourists to visit the Nami Island. Rental: Bicycle: Own: 4,000 Won (30 minutes) / 7,000 Won (1 Hour) Tandem: 8,000 Won (30 minutes) / 14,000 Won (1 Hour) Electric Bike: 10,000 Won (30 minutes) / 18,000 (1 Hour) Sky Bike: 2000 Won (12 years and below) 3000 Won (13 years and above)

Electric Bus Tour Car: 5000 Won (1 person) 20-30 minutes Train place: Across from the Tourism Bureau Motorboat: 40,000 Won (5 people) Baby Carrier: 3,000 Won Wheelchair: Free. We spent one day on the island of Nami alone, and did not travel around to other attractions due to time constraints, since the journey from Seoul took a few hours, about 2 hours. Because we did depart from where we stay is rather late. We were too tired from the previous day. Thank you for reading ♡
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
