KOREA : BEARS TOWN SKI RESORT

I have dreamed that when I visit Korea during winter, we have to go to the their ski resorts. So I've planned to visit the ski resorts that is nearer to Seoul. There are many ski resorts in Korea actually. My friends have recommended to visit Vivaldi Park Ski World for those who are beginner to ski. But because the place is too far for us, so we decided just to go to Bears Town Ski Resorts. It actually took 1 hours plus to go there from Gangbyeon Stations.

The bus stops from and to Bears Town Ski resorts. You will be alighting in the same bus stops when you come back.
We took bus no. 11

This is where you have to stop and alight. You still need to pass the shops and also the bridge and climb up to the ski resorts. There is a guard house at the entrance, that time he can't speak English. He only gave a sign and talk in Korean language to directed us.

We decided not to play ski, because Michelle is too young to play ski. So we decided to play ice sledding. It was fun, we took the ski lift and queued to slide. Michelle need to ride it with her father. At first she is so excited, but after first ride, she cried when we have stopped. The snow was actually on all over her face. It might be hurt, that's why she cried. Actually I saw other kids were wearing mask to avoided the snow.

Warming up our body with a cup of chocolate milk.

Foods at the nearby Food courts near to Baby Bear slope at second level.

To going back to Seoul, you need to take another bus from the opposite bus stop.
The bus has their own timing, if you missed it, you have to wait for another arrival time.
Other than the public bus, I think Bear town ski resort has also provide the paid transportation at certain timing. I didn't asked for more details, but you can approach the staff at their office near the food court at the Big Bear/Adult ski slope.

We actually took the same bus number.

End of the day after we reach back the Train Station, we just go ahead back to Gangnam to get some dinner. Its a great place for dinner. Although we was too late to discover this restaurant actually, because they were about to closed. So we just had a quick meal there. But indeed is a great meal. I will blog the details next time.
