There is a new playground in the middle of Singapore city that has an interesting concept. Equipped with lots of wooden toys, doll houses, mini supermarkets, and kitchens, there are also some small games that sharpen the creativity and the brain.
The name of the playground is Joy of Toys. Located on Clark Quay Central on the 3rd floor unit #03-51 Clarke Quay Central (Yellow Zone) where the entrance and receptions area and children's playground for big kids are separated which is in Main Play Area. The Toddler play area for baby and toddler age 3 years and below are next to the receptionist.
While for older children is located on the same floor but has a separate entrance. How long is the playing time? Actually, there is no limited time when you play on the weekdays. You can go out and come back on the same day. But for weekends and holidays it will be limited to a maximum of 2 hours of the play time.
You will be given a barcode sticker that will be attached to you and your child clothes. children's companion can enter for free limited for 2 people only. All children and parents who enter this playground must wear socks. If not, then you are required to buy socks at the cashier.
Before entering the playground, they will check the temperature of the children first. Inside the playground is also equipped with free lockers, drinking water filters and coffee machines. There are also vending machines that sell small snacks. There is no restaurants/cafe in this place but you are allowed to eat out of the playground area.
For infants and toddlers, there are also baby chairs, baby care room, lockers for diaper bags. It also comes with video monitors for safety and security.
Our girl is very happy to play here and not bored at all, almost about 4 hours she played here. I also really enjoy the play because this place is also equipped with a comfortable sofa.
There are game structures, educational and developmental toys available in this corner
There is food play in the kitchen, baking toys, refrigerators, supermarkets, etc.
A simulated playground for transportation equipment is also available here along with the small profession wooden puppets
There is also a play simulation of farms complete with animals and cages/ barn.
They have also a Wonder Trix Track play set, for creative gravity games.
There are also dollhouses complete with furniture and also the dolls.
