KOREA : LOTTE'S WORLD ADVENTURE

If you've watched our video, you will definitely find a variety of games in this playground. The place is very spacious. One whole day spent for us here is not enough to finish the whole attractions.

Two Parks
There are two parks here outdoor and indoor theme parks. For outdoors they named the place as "Magic Island". While inside the indoor theme parks itself is protected by a glass dome that still emits natural sunlight during the day, so it likes an outdoor theme parks but warmer. For indoor parks, there are 4 floors to explore with many attractions.

Ticket
The price of admission they sell there is varied.
Daily passport ticket:
Full day: Adult 52,000 won / Teens 45,000 won / Children 41,000 won / Baby 13,000 won After 4 pm: Adult 41,000 won / Youth 36,000 won / Children 32,000 won / Baby 13,000 won

4D Shooting Theater

And we just play in Dream Boat. The first time to ride the attraction in Korea, the staff assistance explained the rules of the attractions to everyone in Korean of course. We had a language barrier when they told us to put our bags before boarding the boat.

Adventure1F Floor Lots of games are located on this floor, about 19 attractions, 3 games, also 12 restaurants and 9 stores for shopping. They also feature a parade on this floor. The photo above is one of the popular ride that are located in the middle of the theme park on this floor, many people who took their photos in front of this ride. The name is Camelot Carousel.

Attractions rules

Because we travel with a small child, then the game we choose is have to appropriate to Michelle's age. Also their rules are very strict, if they do not meet the requirements of the ride, then we are not allowed to ride the attractions. Each ride has different height rules.

You can see the map below. They have a height measuring stick to measure the height of the player, specifically to measure the height of the children.

As you can see below, they named it Kids Bumper Car which is also located on the same floor. Adults are required to accompany children who are not old enough to play. They checked each player one by one whether we wear the seat belt well, otherwise they will not start the game. These checks make it a safe ride but in also time-consuming and make longer time to queues.

Adventure3F Floor

In this floor there are 2 attractions one of which is the world monorail. The train that runs over the indoor theme park inside the dome. The queue runs fast.

On the same floor there is a fake prison and a execution boards to take pictures

Adventure2F Floor Right in this floor, there is gate that connect between indoor and outdoor playgrounds, Magic Island. We'll pass the escalator to get out of the dome. The palace below is the icon of Magic Island. Right after we enter the magic island, we are faced with this blue palace. But we did not go up to the castle. The photograph taken is actually at the second floor opposite the palace. To enter the Magic Island, we must go through the palace. Behind that there a lot of rides are waiting. Around 17 attractions are here including Gyro Swing, Gyro Drop, Gyro Spin which is a thrill rides. We just rode 4 children rides: Petit Beep Beep, Kiddies Ferris Wheel, Fantasy Dream and Pirate Ship. Michelle was brave enough to play the small pirate ship for kids with other Korean children.

Do you speak Beluga?

There are also 3 restaurants and 1 show. We rides almost all attractions in this zone. Lastly we also watched an interactive live show with Beluga in Korean. But only took for a while that we decided to just exit, because we don't really understand. It is similar to the Donkey Live show we watched in USS.

Lunch

We also order our lunch at this area. There is a restaurant called Aqua Plaza that sells food like pizza, pork cutlet (fried pork cutlet) like the picture below, fried rice and bibimbap rice.

The most interesting part of this zone is Lotty's Kidstoria, It is a playground for Michelle's and other small children. There are 3 divided zone here, first is a playground with various children's story characters. Like this one below is from the story of Goldilock and three bears. Michelle really enjoys the play, she spots some of the characters that we've read it together in the book inside this playground. We have given an hour time for children to play. All people entered this playground are required to take off their shoes and to put in special bag that can be brought into the play area.

Adventure4F Floor

At the top floor of the indoor playground, there are 3-dimensional paintings on the walls and on the floor that seems real when we pose with the correct angle. This place is called Marvelous art museum. It similar to the tricky eyes museums in Sentosa Singapore.

On the same floor there are 4 attractions, one of it which is also popular is called Aeronauts Ballon Ride, which is a replica of a hot air balloon that goes around the indoor playground only. The queue here runs very slow, the maximum time we can wait is 1 hour 30 minutes. But this game also closes early than any other game. Before the night parade begins, which is around 8pm this ride is already closed.

In front of each games actually there is a waiting time boards that gives you an estimation on how long you will queue before you are able to ride the attractions. So manage your time well.

Buy tickets online

If you are already planning to visit this playground, better that you buy online and get the cheaper price from the third party sites. If not, you can use a tourist voucher that you can get when you buy a t-money card/charm.

Magic Pass

Magic pass is a ticket for the fast lane. Not all games can use this pass, only rides with the M logo. You can get this pass through the machine in front of the attraction that you want. Just need to insert the entrance ticket into the reservation machine, receive the Magic Pass reservation ticket and then return to the reservation line at the designated time. You don't need to wait for long time in long line.
But this magic pass only for those with on day pass, season pass or invitation ticket.

Amenities

The playground also features paid locker facilities, baby stroller / wheelchair rental, cell phone charger area, prayer room for muslim, baby feeding / diaper change room, etc.

Language

The language used mainly is Korean. The workers in this theme park are also not very fluent in English. But mostly the entertainer who are performed in Lotte world show parade are Angmo / western people.

How to go to Lotte World Adventure

We went by train to Jamsil station on Seoul Subway Line 2 and 8. If you take a taxi, you can get off at Lotte World Shopping Mall.
