Travel to Korea are incomplete if you do not visit this largest theme park in Korea. It has zoo and a theme park with a roller coaster that is famous for its height.
We visited this playground in winter. Not recommended to come in winter because the weather is too cold. Especially on that day is the first day of Korea covered with thick snow. The temperature outside the room is about -5 degrees. Many of the games were closed as well as many of his employees cleaned the snow-covered streets.
The photo above is a parking lot covered with snow. Free shuttle bus is available to Everland resort near the parking lot.
To reach the bus terminal where we ride the free shuttle bus, you have to first ride the bus number below 5002 and 5700

Before we came to this place, we were informed that the Everland's ticket price from Jan 20, 2017 - 05 Feb 2017 would get a special half price special only for foreigners.They have this promotion to celebrate the new year. You can check their latest info here.
Since this is an outdoor theme parks so many rides are not operated due to the weather conditions. Also they have several outdoor patio heater to warm our body. If you stand under it, you will feel warm.
The park is divided into 5 parts.
1. Zoo Topia
2. Global Fair
3. American Adventure
4. Magic Land
5. European Adventure
When you enter Everland from the main gate, you will be greeted by a beautiful giant tree called Magic Tree. The ornaments of this tree will vary according to the season theme in Korea. Magic Tree is located in the Global Fair area.
In addition to the Global Fair, you will find many shops. customer service centers such as lost and found, first aid, strollers and wheelchairs rental. There are also many pine trees in this Global Fair area.
If you are heading to Zoo Topia's zoo, you can actually ride the Human Sky rider near the Magic Tree.
The zoo in Everland is wide, Zoo Topia is also divided into several areas. In this place there are places to shop, restaurants, animal shows and animal cages.
There are 3 kinds of shows:
1. Animal Wonder stage, performances from animals at Zoo Topia
2. Sea Lion stadium, Performances from Zootopia seals
3. Fantastic wings, closed in winter.
The animals here are also diverse. They have Pandas, Monkeys, Animal Babies, Penguins and Seals, Polar Bear, Bear and Lion, Giraffe, etc.
Some of these animal attractions are closed in the winter.
You can see our video in our previous posts. We went to safari world and riding a safari bus to see the animal habitats. The number of the animals in safari world are displayed in below pictures.
Another area closest to Zoo topia is European Adventure. You can ride the highest roller coaster in Korea called T Express here. Too bad that the ride is closed in the winter. Besides that the interesting ride in this area is Snow Buster, This is a place where we can slide in the ice slider and enjoy the winter till the max.
In this area there are also places to shop and some restaurants. Also for those parents who bringing baby or small children, you can change the diaper in the space provided in this area. There is also a garden decorated with miniature animals from Zoo Topia as seen below.
The carousell are also here, my children always love to ride this everytime they go to theme parks.
From the European adventure you can catch a cable car to go to American adventure, another alternative is to walk to the Magic Land.
In American adventure, you will see some attractions that is also interesting, like the Championship Rodeo. We will be riding a bull and the ride will spin along with music. Restaurant and baby facilities are also available here.
The last area is Magic Land. in this place a lot of games that is mainly for children. There is also a playground for children to play.
The playground below is closed in Winter.
The other place in this area is Music Garden. In this place you will enjoy christmas songs and also quiet music while we walking through this park. There are also some ribbons wishes that are tied below and you can write your message in this ribbons.
Although we come in January, but the Christmas theme are still seen in this park. The big Christmas tree are also still displayed.
